Friends, an amazing hair cut or a chic hair do is only as good as the quality of the hair.
When we approach fifties /sixties our hormones go haywire, along with other body changes , the hair thickness , moisture level ,lustre, shine and the colour, all go for a toss. The hair growth slows down, they start falling leading to hair thinning , all these changes take place slowly and steadily.
Almost imperceptibly , by the time we realise, “our crowning glory is no more glorious”!
I very vividly remember, when I was going through my menopause, my hair started falling at an alarming rate, so much so that I visited a dermatologist, after checking my Haemoglobin levels and other parameters I was given a clean chit medically……. Conclusion drawn….it is something natural at this stage of life and I have to contend with it.
Luckily a close friend of mine told me about RED ONION HAIR Oil and how it helped her. She shared her recipe too, I prepared it and used it quite diligently for more than two years.
Telling you my personal experience girls, this oil is so effective, do try it out and don’t fret, it doesn’t leave any lingering onion smell.
Here is this easy recipe and it is OOOH so wonderful—
1.Take 100ml. coconut oil or sesame oil , your choice.
2.Make paste of one medium sized red onion in mixer.
3.Extract juice of two medium sized red onions.
Mix all 3 ingredients in a pan, heat it to give one boil, let it simmer on slow flame for 15 min., keep stirring.
Remove pan, let it cool for 6 hours, strain through a muslin cloth, store it in an airtight glass jar.
Apply it to the hair roots 2-3 times a week before shampooing.
Within a month you will notice reduced hair fall and better growth.
Since the last six months or so, I have started using SOULFLOWER Herbal Onion Hair oil, its an amazing product available online. No fuss, no jhanjhat……amazing results.
Besides this , one must carry on with the regular hair care regimen. We have to put in double the effort to look half as good as we did in our hey days but on a positive note ladies we have much more time to maintain ourselves, to pamper ourselves, to feel good and to look great.
Your hair is your best accessory girls,
Look after it!
Renuka.
